Dr. Carlos Boileve, DC, DN

Dr. CM Boileve, DC, MCS-P, DN(Hon), is on faculty at the National College of Naprapathic Medicine and serves as Dean of Academics. He is a Certified Insurance Consultant/Reviewer and a Certified Medical Compliance Specialist. He has received numerous awards such as the Presidential Award 2 years in a row from the Illinois Chiropractic Society for educating the chiropractic profession. He is most proud of his Honorary Naprapathic Degree as given by the National College of Naprapathic Medicine. He currently maintains an active practice in Highwood, IL.

Dr. Lois Collins is a licensed Physician in the State of Illinois and Jamaica W.I.  She serves at present as a tenured Professor in Biology at Malcolm X College, as an instructor in the basic sciences at the National College of Naprapathic Medicine and as a Holistic Health Consultant. Dr. Collins completed her medical training at Rush Medical College where she received the David Jones Peck Prize and the American Medical Women’s Association Citation for Scholastic Achievement. Her residency in Family Practice was completed at St. Joseph Hospital and further subspecialty training was done in Behavior Medicine and Alternative Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She is also certified in Auricular Acupuncture.  Over the past 45 years, Dr. Collins has worked in health care as Medical Director of a Public Health Service rural health center, a women’s behavioral medical center, and an outpatient drug rehabilitation center. Dr. Collins’ publications range from poetry to articles on treatment of anxiety and depression in women.

Basic Sciences Faculty
    M.D., Kaunas Medical Academy, Lithuania
Dr. Vadim Dekhtyar completed his M.D. at Kaunas Medical Academy in Lithuania. He also received his post graduate residency certification of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation from Kaunas Medical Academy, Lithuania. Later he took fellowship in psychotherapy. He is also a graduate of Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. Currently, Dr. Dekhtyar is the Neuroscience instructor at the National College of Naprapathic Medicine, and has been in private practice for twenty years. He is the founder and president of Academy NLP.

Dr. Ashley Ellis, D.N., completed her EEG biofeedback coursework through the New Mind Academy, and is soon to be nationally certified by the BCIA. She has studied very closely with Dr. Kathy Abbott, a psychologist and International Society and Neurofeedback Research board member, using different forms including: Sygnet, Discovery and LENS (Low Energy Neurofeedback System). She has surpassed all the clinical requirements for the certification from Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA) for EEG biofeedback. As a doctor of Naprapathic Medicine utilizing naprapathic manual medicine, nutritional counseling and now the addition of neuro-bio feedback, Dr. Ellis has increased positive results with her patients dramatically. Dr. Ellis is in private practice and teaches courses in nutrition and serves on the clinic faculty of the National College of Naprapathic Medicine.

Dr. Clive Hazell earned his doctorate in Counseling from Northwestern University in 1982. He served as a professor at DeVry University, and holds adjunct appointments at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Dr. Hazell is a nationally certified counselor and has been in private practice for 26 years. In addition, he as written several books pertaining to psychology and the social sciences and regularly publishes articles in psychology journals.  He currently teaches in the basic sciences at the National College of Naprapathic Medicine.
